BadgeVault is a mobile and web application designed for conference lead capture and management. We help sales representatives and field teams capture, organize, and follow up with healthcare providers and business contacts at conferences and events. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use BadgeVault.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address, full name, and profile details provided at registration or login.
• Lead contact data: names, email addresses, phone numbers, organizations, specialties, and notes that you manually enter or capture by scanning badges.
• Conference and event data: information about events you create, attend, or track within the app.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, and anonymized usage analytics to help us improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the BadgeVault service.
• To sync and store your leads securely across devices.
• To authenticate your account and maintain session security.
• To improve the app based on usage patterns and feedback.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. The lead and contact data you capture belongs to you. We do not use your lead data for our own marketing purposes. You can export your data at any time from within the app.

5. Third-Party Services

BadgeVault uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — for secure payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data. We do not store your full credit card information.
• Google — for optional authentication (Sign in with Google). Google's privacy policy applies to any data processed through their authentication service.
• Base44 — as our underlying app infrastructure and hosting platform.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share the lead contact data you capture with any third parties without your explicit consent. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data from within the BadgeVault app. To request a full copy of your data or to request account deletion, contact us at privacy@badgevault.app. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and lead data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the app.

9. Children's Privacy

BadgeVault is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
